Pictures from the Eagle Nebula. These are huge columns of hydrogen with a length of several light years. Many stars are forming inside these columns.

A Black Hole
When I was a little kid I had a fascination with the stars for like a couple months and I remember wanting a powerful telescope. However all my dreams of looking into space were dashed when I realized that I could not afford a nice telescope. I made due with some binoculars for awhile, but quickly lost interest. Since then I have had zero interest in Astronomy, space, or movies/TV shows abut space.
