God Must Have the Funniest America's Home Videos
Don't you hate it when you have to wake up in the middle of the night to go pee? Last night I woke up in a dream-like state and semi sleep-walked to the bathroom to relieve myself. On my way back I tripped over the weight scale which was not in it's usual location and I fell into the bathtub. My foot hit the scale really hard (we have one of those heavy glass ones) making a loud crash sound and of course my fat ass falling into the tub wasn't exactly quiet. So I woke Mary up and she must have thought I broke my neck or something with all that noise I was making.
Anyways I wish I had video of the fall because it must have been hilarious to see. God was probably cracking up.

Weather
Feeling gloomy. Days like this make me want to take a nap wrapped in my warm down comforter.

Weekend
Friday - Did nothing
Sat - Hung out with Rich, watched Eastern Promises. Wasn't that good. I knew I was getting my hopes up. On a side note, now I want to get some tattoos on my hands. =) I have actually been itchin to get another tattoo, somewhere on my neck.
Later that night hung out with Jimmy, watched the Cal Game. I was actually so tired I fell asleep on his couch. Dude when did I turn into an old man? When I woke up Jimmy had prepared us some steaks, what a guy. My wife doesn't even do that.
Sunday - We had a pastor from a nearby Japanese church give the message. He's a pretty cool guy, I can see why Pastor Joe likes him. They are kind of similar. He also owns a gun. That is pretty liberal for an Asian Pastor to own a firearm. Again I can see why Pastor Joe likes him. The Japanese Pastor and I both agreed that Pastor Joe is a pretty violent pastor.
So we are still in the process of looking for a pastor. Two people have turned us down already. But I am trying to stay positive. I gotta believe that God will bring us the right pastor. I'm thinking neither of those two were right for us.
Weekends are too short. One of these days I am going to try to switch to a 4 day work week.

Daaaang!!
Yesterday Mary and I were having dinner at House of Curry on Solano and we saw a woman get hit by a car. It was pretty sad. An old Filipino lady was crossing the crosswalk in front of us then this car driving around 30 miles hits her. She was thrown onto the hood and as the car screeched to a halt she was projected 20 feet in front. Mary called 911 and I went over there but I didn't touch her. Some other lady came and kind of took over. I just helped get all of her groceries off the street. I actually felt silly as I was picking up the cartons of orange juice and other items. I was thinking, "Who cares about these groceries?" I gave a statement to the cops and then we went back to our food.
For some reason even though I was right in front of this accident, it wasn't as chilling as this hit and run I saw a while ago in Alameda. A black Mustang andd a motor cycle were racing down Park Ave, and of course the motorcycle won. As they came to the red light the motor ycle cut in front of the Mustang and the Mustang rear ended the bike. The biker got off the bike super pissed, and ready to fight. He was pretty big too. Then all of a sudden the Mustang peels out and runs the biker over. The biker get flipped 3 times in the air and then falls hard to the ground. Luckily he got up, but he was pretty dazed and humbled. I think that was way more chilling than the accident we saw yesterday. The accident in Alameda wasn't an accident rather vehicular manslaughter. People are crazy. Get well soon Filipino lady.
