This Weekend

Fri - Mary and I went to Bread's of India for date night. It was really good. We haven't had time away to just be by ourselves and talk for awhile. I had the usual Chicken Tikka Masala. But I ordered one and a half orders, and some garlic naan.

Sat - Just hung out at home with the fam and finished trimming the hedges. At 9 watched the Ultimate Fighter season finale with Pastor Joe. The main fight with BJ Penn and Culver was really good. Probably one of the best UFC fights I've seen this year. BJ toyed with him the whole fight. He made Culver look real bad. The best part was that it was free on the Spike network.

Sun - Church. Message was a continuation on relationships. It was focused on couples, mainly married couples. The pastor spoke about this book the couples group read together called His Needs, Her Needs.

After church I went to go buy a fish tank. Pastor Joe came with because he had a lot of tanks growing up. Anyways we drove all the way up to Vacaville to a pretty nice suburb community. The guy who sold me the tank had a 3 car garage that was literally filled wall to wall with fish tanks. He breeds fish as a hobby.

I got a 40 gallon tank with wood stand, heater, food, décor, light, a thing that brings more oxygen to the tank, and a bunch of other stuff for $120. For those who have had tanks before, this was a great deal. At Petco all this stuff would have cost at least $500. All I need to get are the rocks, filter, and the fish. I will post some pics when I set it up. I can't wait to fill this bad boy up with fish.
