Update

Last night Mary's sister just showed up at our house and stayed for dinner with her two kids. Mary's mom actually knew about it but didn't want to tell us because she's mad at Mary.

I have a pretty bad history with Mary's sister. Long story short, she is just not a nice person in my opinion. She didn't invite me to her wedding, and when my mom went to LA to meet her family she didn't even say hello to my mom. She didn't even get up.

Anyway depite all that I still try to be cordial for Mary's sake. Last night's dinner wasn't that bad. She can be friendly at times.

At my work that kid who lied about me, complained to my boss again. He said that I was intimidating him and staring him down. He said that he is too scared to come into the financial aid office because of me. I think he's crazy. Thankfully my boss is on my side.

Heh

Heh came to visit the Bay Area so we caught dinner with her and her friend. This was the third time we have hung out since we got introduced by our mutual friend James. James always jokes that she is the female version of me...not sure but I think that's pretty insulting to her. =) We went to Tsing Tao on Solano Ave where they have pretty good garlic chicken wings.

As usual Christian was the star of the night.

Why does my face look so huge!?

Been in training to learn report writing on Microsoft SQL. Pretty powerful stuff, but pretty boring. Not even sure how much of it is even sinking in.

Per Daniel's Request

Here is a picture of me in the 2nd grade, actually it might have been 3rd. It's actually one of the few pictures that I have of me from childhood. Look at my perfect skin before acne ravaged it in high school. Man what I wouldn't do to have that skin again.

I found this one as well. I wanted to put this one in because don't you think I look so much like Christian?

Escaping Thoughts

Sometimes I read over my past postings, which is another good reason to blog. So you can read back on some of your old thoughts. Well I reread my last blog about legendary stories because some “college girl” =) at church said I was showing off and I wanted to see if I was being a little full of myself. I guess I was a little bit, but I normally am pretty full of myself. It’s my blog, I’m the star of it. =)

As I was reading I had a flashback to that fight in the 2nd grade. I was so young and small, imagining two little kids that age fist fighting was kind of comical yet disturbing. Little kids don’t normally punch other kids in the face, it’s not normal. It’s not very normal to hit others in general. When you really think about it, fights are very grotesque and very disturbing. Have you ever seen two grown men fight in the streets? It’s not pretty.

Anyway I digress. I thought about my mind set at that age. I remember the 2nd grade very clearly. I thought I was pretty grown up at that time. I had my first crush and my first heart break that year. I fell hard for this girl named Jennifer Dumag and when I asked her to be my girlfriend, she said no.

By the time I was in the 2nd grade I have already seen and experienced a lot. I’ve seen my father hit my mother too many times, I’ve been hit by my father many times, experienced my mother leaving my father. One day I came home from school and she wasn’t there. She took my sister and just left. I remember that day so well. I walked into my room and the room was bright red from the sun reflecting off of my red blanket. My mom (2nd mom) left me a coloring book and a pack of crayons on my desk.

That year was a very difficult one for me and my dad. I would wake up in the morning and he was already gone for work. I got ready and walked to school by myself. When I came home I would wait for him in our room coloring or watching tv. Then when he finally got home he would make us dinner. I remember eating a lot of melted cheese over rice.

That year was also the year I went to live with my white foster family. I remember my first day at my new school. The teacher sat me next to this black kid named Darren Baker and asked him to be my friend and show me around. We actually became best friends until the 5th grade when I moved again. I remember he cried when I left.

So by the time I was in the 2nd grade I’ve already experienced so much. That’s was probably the root of all the anger and lashing out. I actually got into 3 or 4 fights in the 2nd grade, even got sent home.

Anyway all of these thoughts poured into my head and I wanted to write them down before they escaped.

Another Season Come and Gone

Last night’s game was the perfect ending to another great season of football. Thanks to the Comcast DVR, I was able to watch every single televised football game this year. If you fast forward to every snap, you can watch the whole game in like 30-45 minutes.

This year was a pretty good year of football. You got to see the Chicago Bears in their true form. Grossman was finally benched. Brett Favre resurrected his career (one more year Brett). Brett also broke Marino’s career touchdown record, which I got to see. Randy Moss and Tom Brady both set single season touchdown record, as well as leading their team to a perfect undefeated regular season. The defending Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning choked against a sub par San Diego team. But in a miraculous turn of events his younger brother of two years, Eli Manning makes it to the Super Bowl in his place!

As a Forty Niners fan it was another less than satisfying season. They really need to get rid of Alex Smith. He’s so not franchise.

But last night’s game was a perfect ending, as the NY Giants who were a really shaky team throughout the season, rallied to defeat the perfect Patriots, thanks mostly to their defense. I’ve never seen four other guys shut down an offense like that before. Some people came over to our place yesterday to watch. Many were not even football fans, but the game was so exciting I think we converted some over. Now I’m sad, and I’m going to have to wait til next September before another awesome season of football begins. Til then all my die hard football fans, here’s to another great season.
